Storage & Transportation Notes
- Shipping Condition: Transport at -18°C frozen.
- Acceptance Criteria:
- Normal condition: Upon arrival, the shredded cheese should appear as natural, regular pieces inside the box.
- Minor clumping or slight ice crystals are normal; allow to thaw naturally before use—this does not affect quality.
- Abnormal Condition: If the product arrives fully hardened like a brick with excessive ice crystals or complete solidification, do not accept the delivery and contact our sales team immediately.
- Critical Warning:
- Do not refreeze after thawing. Repeated thawing and freezing will damage the cheese’s stretchability.
Usage Instructions
- Thawing Requirement: Thaw completely in a refrigerator at 5–10°C for 24–48 hours before use to ensure no hard cores or ice crystals remain.
- Note: Insufficient thawing reduces cheese fluidity, leading to burning during baking, poor stretchability, or failure to melt properly. The baked product may also show unmelted layers when cut.
- Temperature Control:
- Avoid storage above 10°C to prevent oil separation and excessive softening.
- For best results, handle at 5°C on a refrigerated work surface.
- Shelf Life:
- Unopened: Up to 20 days in a 5°C refrigerator.
- Opened: Consume within 7 days for optimal quality.
